Emmanuel Emekaekwue joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in July 2024, following a 26-year career in the United States Army, where he attained the rank of CSM. Emmanuel understands the challenges and opportunities associated with life in the military and is committed to helping service members and their families get their financial lives squared away. Emmanuel has a master's degree in Business Administration with concentration in Business Analytics from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, a bachelor's degree in Technology Management from the Excelsior University, a Diploma in Electronics, Computer, and Industrial Technology from the National Institute of Technology, Wyoming, MI, and an Executive Certificate in Counter-Terrorism Studies at the Reichman University, Herzliya, Israel. He holds Series 6, 63, and 65 securities licenses plus life and health insurance licenses in NC, GA, TX, and MI. He is also licensed in variable life and variable annuity, Medicare Supplement and long-term care. Understanding that the biggest obstacle to financial security for most people is their own behavior, Emmanuel serves as a personal financial coach to clients, continually reinforcing positive financial behaviors. He advocates time-tested financial principles, including disciplined, long-term saving and investing, careful debt management, and a thoughtful insurance strategy to manage financial risk. Emmanuel will work with you to establish specific, meaningful goals that are consistent with your values and then develop a personalized financial plan to guide your pursuit of those goals. Active in his community, Emmanuel is a member of the 82nd Airborne Division Association, the Fort Bragg Sergeants Major Association, the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), the Vice President of the NCO and Soldier Programs for the Association of the United States Army (AUSA), and a board member for the Cumberland County Schools Advisory Board for the Academy of Finance at Douglas Byrd High School. He is a member of the Greater Fayetteville Chamber, a member of the Military Affairs Council (MAC) of the Greater Fayetteville Chamber, and a member of the Hope Mills Chamber of Commerce. Emmanuel is a graduate of the Greater Fayetteville Chamber's Leadership Fayetteville (Class 2026) and the Fayetteville Police Department's Citizen's Police Academy. In his free time, Emmanuel enjoys, gardening, reading and running.
